Teddy Abrams conducting the Louisville Orchestra during a performance last year. Symphony.org

Following a well-received run in previous seasons, the Louisville Orchestra’s NightLites concert series will return for 2025–2026, once again in partnership with the Ogle Center at Indiana University Southeast. The four-concert series, supported by an anonymous donor, begins this fall and brings Friday night orchestral performances back to Southern Indiana.

Subscription packages are currently available at LouisvilleOrchestra.org, with individual tickets scheduled to go on sale in mid-July.

Under the direction of Music Director Teddy Abrams, NightLites presents accessible programs that pair classical masterworks in fresh and engaging ways. The concerts are designed to appeal to longtime classical fans as well as new listeners.

The season opens October 17 with Beethoven & Brahms, followed by Handel’s Messiah on December 5, Mozart & Haydn on January 9, and Bruch & Bruckner on February 6.

Founded in 1937, the Louisville Orchestra has built a national reputation for innovation and bold programming. Since 2014, Abrams has led the ensemble through a period of renewed visibility and artistic growth, including recordings on the Decca Gold label.
