The Louisville Orchestra’s 2025–2026 season is officially open to the public with single tickets now available. This year’s programming brings together iconic works, bold new collaborations, and major guest artists in a season designed to challenge expectations and reach wider audiences.
Music Director Teddy Abrams, now in his eleventh season, leads a year of programming that includes guest appearances by Ben Folds, Morgan Freeman, Stewart Copeland, and Yuja Wang. The season begins September 5 with a performance by Folds, followed by Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 3 on October 4 and Freeman’s Symphonic Blues Experience on October 11.

Other highlights include Beethoven’s Pastoral Symphony (October 24–25), Disney’s Hocus Pocus in Concert (October 29–30), and Abrams conducting Mahler’s Ninth Symphony (January 16–17). Dolly Parton’s music is featured in a new orchestral project, Threads: My Songs in Symphony, on January 31.
The orchestra will also present tributes to Joni Mitchell, Carole King, and Carly Simon, as well as works by Eric Whitacre and Aaron Copland. The season closes with Rhapsody in Blue on April 24 and 25.
