Make your way down to the Cultural Arts Center next Tuesday, March 25th, from 12 to 1PM for a presentation on southern Indiana’s vibrant works of public art!
As an installment of their monthly Lunch and Learn series, the Cultural Arts Center will be hosting guest speaker Daniel Boone, giving patrons the opportunity to learn about public art, its history, and its presence throughout southern Indiana. Boone will present photos of the works being discussed, as well as stories about each work gathered through his podcast, “Fresh Art.”
Daniel Boone is highly credited in the art sphere of southern Indiana. He is a member of both the Clarksville Art Commission and Mount St. Francis Arts Advisory Board, and he works with the Arts Alliance of Southern Indiana and Jeffersonville Public Arts. Additionally, he serves as the historian for the Jeffersonville Arts Alliance.
The Cultural Arts Center is a branch of the Floyd County Library, and it is located at 201 East Spring Street, New Albany, IN. The Lunch and Learn series is FREE and open to the public. Those interested in Daniel Boone’s presentation can register to attend at nafclibrary.libcal.com.
