The town of La Grange, Kentucky, has gotten a makeover, thanks to a new HGTV show, “Home Town Kickstart” — and you can watch the episode it features in this weekend.

The episode, “Love for La Grange,” will air this Sunday, May 15, from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. and will be available to stream on Discovery Plus.

“Home Town Kickstart” is a new show that brings renovating “makeovers” to select businesses, buildings, and homes in six small towns, including Buffalo, Wyoming; Cornwall, New York; and Minden, Louisiana.

Its hosts are Ben and Erin Napier of the shows “Home Town” and “Home Town Takeover.”

That said, the HGTV stars who visit La Grange (located about 20 minutes from Louisville) in the episode are Alison Victoria (“Windy City Rehab”) and Joe Mazza (“Home Inspector Joe.”)

According to the episode description, “Alison Victoria and Joe Mazza kickstart a trio of projects for La Grange, the Kindness Capital of Kentucky. They create a mural dedicated to a couple of trailblazers, design a hub for local small businesses and give a family home a much-needed makeover.”

If you miss tomorrow’s premiere, though, don’t worry — it’ll also air a few more times in the coming weeks. (Check out the schedule here.)

Local interest in the episode is so strong, in fact, that all of the free tickets to La Grange’s official 800-person watch party at their Southeast Christian Church campus have already been claimed, according to a social media announcement this morning.

Even if you didn’t get a ticket to the watch party, you can still see the renovations and the community this weekend.

La Grange’s Main Street organization invites the public to visit downtown on Sunday to patronize local businesses. Burnout BBQ will serve food on Walnut Street from 1 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Dave Mehl’s Swing Street Band Combo will play on Walnut Street from 4 to 6 p.m. After the watch party, the new renovations will be lit up until 11 p.m.
