For its last show of the season on Saturday, the Georgetown Drive-In is going all out for a creepy good time.
The outdoor theater in Georgetown, Indiana, is showing classic horror movies for the adults (Christine, Pet Sematary and A Nightmare on Elm Street), and Paw Patrol The Movie and Scooby-Doo for the scaredy-cats we mean kids. Both screens will start playing at 8:15 p.m.. A Nightmare on Elm Street begins at midnight.
There will be more than humans and monsters at the drive-in, though. Its also dog night and classic car cruise-in night. You can dress up both for Halloween to win a contest. The first 100 classic cars will receive a free dash plaque, but it is $2 extra to bring your dog, although proceeds will go to the New Albany Floyd County Animal Shelter.
You can also play Fright Fetch for a chance to win prizes, including a vintage Terminator 2 arcade cabinet.
For refreshments, Uncle Jesses chili will be for sale, as well as brats, ribeye steak sandwiches and classic Coca-Cola in vintage glass bottles.
The Drive-in is also open on Friday, Sept. 23, although youll miss out on all the spooky extras. The movie schedule is the same, except A Nightmare on Elm Street is showing on Saturday only.
Admission to the Georgetown Drive-In is $11 cash for adults, $6 for children 6-12 and free for children under 5.
The drive-in tends to fill up, so its wise to get there early.
Dont miss out one of Southern Indianas jewels it likely wont reopen until May.
