May 8-10th and 16th-18th, Mind’s Eye Theatre Company, in collaboration with Fern Creek High School, proudly presents Freaky Friday the Musical. With music by Tom Kitt, lyrics by Brian Yorkey, and a book by Bridget Carpenter, it is based on the 1972 novel of the same name by Mary Rodgers and its 1976, 1995, and 2003 film adaptations.

In 2016 Kelly McCorkendale for the DC Theatre Scene called the musical “freaky fun” and stated that “In fact, all the songs in Freaky Friday remind us of something important about life (while staying upbeat and groovy): that parents lie, some secrets are best kept when it comes to adults and juveniles, gym always sucks, sibling love is alive and real, and family comes first.

For more than 10 years, femme-led Mind’s Eye has produced exciting and inclusive productions, catering to the eclectic tastes of the Louisville Metro Community.

Tickets are available from Mind’s Eye Theatre Company.
