The Lantern at Morning Pointe Louisville Alzheimer’s Center of Excellence is once again rolling out the holiday welcome mat.
The event organizers say that the community is encouraged to meet for the 2nd Annual Christmas Cookie Exchange, on Friday, Dec. 19 from 2–4 p.m. at 4701 S. Hurstbourne Parkway in Louisville.
What to expect from the Cookie Exchange
Organizers ask visitors to bring a batch of their favorite homemade holiday cookies—whether standard chocolate chip, gingerbread staples or a beloved family recipe—to swap, taste, and enjoy among neighbors, families and friends. The event seeks to give a pleasant, festive atmosphere where people may interact and appreciate the season.
“Events like these bring out the heart of our community,” said Allie Olsen, Community Relations Director at The Louisville Lantern. “It’s a chance for residents, families, and local neighbors to connect, celebrate traditions, and make new memories together.”
The afternoon plans include cookie tasting and swapping, warm holiday fellowship and an inviting atmosphere for mingling.
How to join the Cookie Exchange
