“Take a look around you, Ellen! We’re at the threshold of hell!” —Clark Griswold

If you were born anytime before 1980, you’ve grown up with the characters of Chevy Chase in your home. Most notably, his portrayal of Clark Griswold in all of the “National Lampoon’s” Vacation movies, are probably his best known works, with “Christmas Vacation” being probably the most well known version of his character.

On Saturday, Nov. 24, Kentucky Performing Arts will host an evening with Chevy Chase following a screening of “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation.” The evening kicks off at 7 p.m. in Whitney Hall. Tickets are available here.

The film was released 35 years ago and has grown into a family classic, watched by many year after year. Chase will be joined by his wife Jayni and will discuss topics from his days at “Saturday Night Live,” “Caddyshack,” and, of course, his “Vacation” films.

Follow Chevy Chase on Instagram.

Kosair for Kids will be hosting a toy drive in the lobby. Guests are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy, valued between $20 – $25 for kids ages 0 – 12. Patrons and guests are encouraged to bring new, unwrapped toys for ages 0-12 valued between $20 – $25.
