Toasty’s Tavern Some of the best pub grub in town! You’ll probably have to skip the drinks to keep it affordable, but hey, the fries are their own kind of high.
Barret BarGood bar food, good prices, good patio. Sure sounds like a winner.

Miki’s This karaoke bar serves up Korean grub with some pretty tasty $10 ramen.
Kebab House
Classic Mediterranean gyros and sandwiches under $10 or get a whopping plate of food for about $15.
The Misfit Czech-inspired sausages and sandwiches you will drool over forever. They even serve half-portions for $6-7 that are both super tasty and pretty filling.

El Molcajete Quite possibly the best Mexican in town.
Safier Big portions for a small price! You can get a massive sandwich for around $8 or a whole plate of falafel, hummus, and pita for about $4. Don’t sleep on the daily specials.
Panchitos Affordable tacos, tortas and churro shakes. (Churro shakes!!!)

Classic Dizzy Whizz. You can’t go wrong with these double-decker hamburgers, french fries & milkshakes.
Frank’s meat and produce Killer sandwiches and soups that make your wages a little more livable.
Yummy Pollo Yummy and affordable chicken!
Carali’s You can get half a chicken and two sides for about $12 at this Peruvian rotisserie chicken joint.
Jasmin’s Bakery Big ass gyros for super cheap.
Wagner’s Pharmacy Serious Southern grub right across the street from Churchill Downs. Stop by for a hearty breakfast or a fried bologna sandwich.
Checks Cafe
You can always enjoy an affordable meal at this gathering place that’s been open since the ’40s. Enjoy beer, sandwiches, German-American dishes, and a great happy hour.
Hilltop Tavern $6 appetizers and $15 entrees. And it’s open late!
Old Louisville Tavern You can easily get a meal at this Old Louisville pub for under $20. RIP to Nickle Wing Night though.
Burger Girl This diner is an easy spot to grab an $8 breakfast, $10 burger or $9 sandwich.
