After nearly four decades, the Parkland Library branch has finally reopened its renovated and expanded facility. While budget cuts in 1986 led to its closure, grassroots efforts by Friends of Parkland Library and voices in the community over the last ten years helped bring it back. The Parkland Library is ready to serve Louisvillians, and its reopening is an inspiring testament to the power of community. Check out the new space below, and keep it thriving by attending the family fun day on March 1!
