SATURDAY
Thunder over Louisville
Waterfront Park Free; All day I could sum this pick up in two words: Its Thunder. Youre either into fighter jets tearing across the sky and a fireworks show so powerful you can feel the explosions in your chest. Or you like your eardrums and dont feel like fighting the traffic for hours to leave. Either way, its a staple of Louisville, and if youve never been, its definitely worth experiencing at least once in your life.

CycLOUvia

Well, CycLOUvia is hoping to take us back to those golden days by giving everyone the chance to walk, cycle, skate or dance down Frankfort Avenue and get a new perspective on the popular area. From 2 to 6 p.m, Frankfort Avenue will be closed down from Stilz Avenue to Pope Street so that everyone can roam around and visit their favorite businesses who will be throwing their own CycLOUvia parties.
