Louisville Tattoo Arts Convention Kentucky International Convention Center $20-$40; 2 p.m. Friday, 11 a.m. Saturday-Sunday For the fifth year in a row, The Villain Arts crew is back with the Louisville Tattoo Arts Convention. Check out the work of local and international tattoo artists, and possibly get tatted up by them on the spot. And don’t forget to keep your wristband on for a no-cover entrance into the after parties at 3rd Street Dive on Friday, and Magnolia Bar on Saturday. —Ethan Smith

3 Year Anniversary Party Block Party Handmade Boutique Free; 6 p.m. While you’re out and about for the First Friday Trolley Hop, make sure to stop in at Block Party Handmade Boutique for its birthday bash. Bethany Nixon from RewareVintage.com will be visiting with plenty of Reware Vintage goodies. And, as with any birthday bash worth its weight in confetti, there will be balloons, cake, a DJ for the dance party and … confetti! —Ethan Smith

Louisville City FC vs New York Red Bulls II Louisville Slugger Field $20-$40; 3 p.m. With UofL, UK and Indiana out of NCAA tournaments, men and women, Louisville has a huge sportsball-shaped hole in its heart. Thankfully, the city’s newest addition to our sports ensemble, Louisville City FC, will host its first home game of the season this weekend as it faces off against the New York Red Bulls II. So, come out and show some support for Louisville’s other futbol team. —Ethan Smith

2nd Annual Instrument Drive Silver Dollar Donations; 4 p.m. If you can somehow find the energy on your lazy Sunday, come out and support our musically-inclined youth at the Silver Dollar by enjoying some live music by Nick Dittmeier & the Sawdusters, Kelly Scott Franklin, John Clay and many more. Also, 10 percent of all sales between 4–7 p.m. will be donated to Instrumental Partners, who will also be accepting used instruments to be refurbished and donated to local youth in need. —Ethan Smith
