FRIDAY, Nov. 12

“Swan Lake” Brown Theatre Prices vary  |  7:30 p.m. The Louisville Ballet is returning to in-person performances with a rendition of “Swan Lake” with a digital laser based set. This will also be the final performance of the ballet’s Principal Company Dancer Erica De La O, who has been with the company since 2003. Say goodbye before the ballet’s two last performances on Saturday. Proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test are required to attend and masks must be worn during the show. 

SATURDAY, Nov. 13

Fall Migratory Bird Day Mount Saint Francis Center for Spirituality, Mount Saint Francis, Indiana $25  |  8-11 a.m. Head to the hills of Southern Indiana for a guided sunrise hike with a naturalist to find and identify the fall migratory birds that make the Mount Saint Francis Center for Spirituality their temporary home during this time. There will also be an indoors, country breakfast, and then another hike afterward “to explore more of the habitats and creatures at the Mount.”

Saturdays with Spirit Foxhollow Farm No cover  |   10 a.m.-2 p.m. Spiritual healers and mystical vendors converge on Foxhollow Farms. There will be nine vendors offering their services and goods. You can sit in on a 15 minute reading with a medium, grab a quick reiki session, have your dreams interpreted and more (prices vary). Fleur de Tea will be on site, too, selling their hot and cold teas, fresh scones and other small treats.

Enter the Portal Vol. 2 1535 Lytle St. $15-$20  |  10 p.m.-4 a.m. Adorn yourself with BioGlitz glitter for a DJd party with “industrial warehouse vibes,” according to organizers. There will be a Gllitz bar where you or a Glitz artist can apply your shine, as well as fully body glitz models and performers out on the dance floor with you. Proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test are required for entry.

SUNDAY, Nov. 14

Festival of Trees & Lights Louisville Slugger Field Prices vary  |  10 a.m.-5 p.m. Louisville Slugger Field is turning into a winter wonderland (in fall, no less) this weekend. There will be train rides, photos with Santa, grab-and-go crafts, Hanukkah activities, holiday entertainment and a sweet shop and market. You’ll also be able to gaze at hundreds of decorated trees, wreaths and decor on sale to benefit Norton Children’s Hospital. (This event is also on Friday and Saturday.)
