FRIDAY, Oct. 22

A Haunting Good Time at Charlestown State Park Charlestown State Park, Charlestown, Indiana $7 in-state, $9 out-of-state  |  2-8 p.m. Charlestown State Park is hosting a whole weekend of Halloween-inspired events. There will be several themed guided hikes through Sunday including historic tours of the abandoned Rose Island theme park, a full moon hike, a cemetery hike, a “Murder on Trail 3” hike and a fall colors hike. On Friday and Saturday there will be a DIY tie die T-shirt activity, and on Saturday, wear your costume for campground trick or treating, costume contest and scavenger hunt.

Louisville Beer Week Various Locations Prices vary  |  Times vary Over a dozen local breweries are participating in Louisville Beer Week, starting Friday with a variety of events and specialty releases. You can kick off the week with a silent disco at Hi-Wire Brewing on Friday, Hipster Fest at Falls City Beer on Saturday and a Fall Beer & Brunch Market at Chimera Brewing Co. on Sunday… and much more! SATURDAY, Oct. 23

Cherokee Triangle Fall Festival Willow Park No cover  |  11 a.m.-7 p.m. Celebrate fall in the Cherokee Triangle neighborhood near the park with food, drinks from Falls City and 502 Winery, a cornhole tournament with cash prizes, a used book sale, kids activities, crafts, live music and a bourbon pull.

Louisville Taco Festival Fourth Street Live! $10-$55  |  Times vary The third annual Louisville Taco Festival is returning to Fourth Street Live! on Saturday and Sunday with food from over 15 vendors, a margarita bar, a Guy Fieri (our lord and savior) nacho bar and a churro stand. There will also be a taco and hot chili pepper eating contest, a kids zone with moon bounces, live entertainment and tailgate games including Gian beer bong and baggo. Your entry time depends on which ticket you choose, as well as how many tacos and drinks are included.

SUNDAY, Oct. 24

Hayride on the Hill Cherokee Park Free  |  3:30-6:30 p.m. You won’t be able to drive around Cherokee Park in your car this Sunday afternoon, but you will be able to experience the scenic area with free hayrides. There will also be food, beer, live music and a Free Play experience for the kids. Bikes are welcome in the park, too.
