All aboard for RailFest in La Grange, KY! Join the town for a 3-day celebration on May 9 – 11, marking 175 years since the first train rolled through our charming town. Coinciding with National Train Day, this festival will feature historical exhibits, train layouts, train and craft vendors, live music and entertainment, family-friendly activities, food trucks. Included will be the kickoff at Springs Park on Friday, May 9th from 6 – 9 pm with an evening of live Bluegrass music and entertainment featuring the Misty Mountain String Band. May 10th from 10 am – 5 pm Enjoy time with mom and celebrate her at the Mother’s Day Tea Party Cookie Decorating Class! Join in at The Whimsical Cookie Studio at 37 Bank Street Suite 11, in New Albany, IN, for this introduction into the basics of sugar cookie decorating! In this 2 hour class everything you’ll need is provided at class along with a live in-person instructor – just bring a smile (and maybe an apron)! Enjoy arts & crafts from local artisans, as well as perennials, annuals, and succulents donated by local merchants and Club members.
