Metal Monday usually hosts out-of-town bands, but they’re keeping it local this week with Louisville’s own The JimHärralson.

TUESDAY, OCT. 24

Jack O’Lantern Spectacular Sensory Night Iroquois Park $15 | 5:30 p.m.

The Jack O’Lantern Spectacular, a showcase of thousands of carved pumpkins, might be a bit too loud or bright for some people with autism or other sensory differences, but this event is made to accommodate guests with sensory needs before the event opens to the public that night.

WEDNESDAY, OCT. 25

Wizard Wednesday: Hallowizardeen Scary Movie Marathon Old Louisville Brewery Free | 6-10 p.m.

Join Devin Person, Louisville’s head honcho wizard, and his friends for a marathon of “Killer Klowns from Outer Space,” “Puppet Master,” and “Tammy and the T-Rex.”

THURSDAY, OCT. 26

Beetle Gin & Juice Pop Up Bar Against the Grain No cover | 6-10 p.m.

You won’t have to say his name three times for him to appear — the “ghost with the most” will be the star of this three-night pop-up, a fundraiser to help bartender Caroline Elders after a car accident.

Moonlight Yoga: Costume Edition NoraeBar Free | 7-8 p.m.

As the name suggests, it’s a yoga session in the moonlight in which all participants wear costumes. The participant with the best costume will win a goodie bag.

FRIDAY, OCT. 27

The Roast Of Draculas Planet of the Tapes  $15 | 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Local comedians will dress up like (and roast) vampires you know and love — Edward Cullen, Blade, Dracula (obviously), Count Von Count (’cause why not), and more.

Boo at the Zoo
Louisville Zoo
$7-$13.50 | 5-10 p.m. 

Trick-or-treat with your little ones and introduce them to some of their favorite characters at the Zoo’s beloved Halloween party. (Check out what it takes to become a Boo at the Zoo actor in this LEO story.)

Tony and the Tan Lines present…The 80’s and Beyond! Headliners $15 | 7:30 p.m. – 12 a.m.

Groove to live performances of songs from beloved 80s and 90s movies, including “Top Gun,” “Pretty Woman,” “Footloose,” and more.

Dead Of Night & The Dark Market feat. The Electric Exorcism Tour Art Sanctuary $10 in advance, $15 day of | 9 p.m. – 2 a.m.

Dance to “dark eclectic music” and “celebrate the glum drudgery of our dreadful existence.”
