The eagerly anticipated return of Louisville to professional football is now officially underway.

The Louisville Kings’ complete 2026 schedule was made public by the United Football League on Thursday. The team will host the Birmingham Stallions at Lynn Family Stadium on Friday, March 27 at 8 p.m. to kick off their first season. The season opener serves as a fan “Green Out” at the stadium and will air nationally on FOX.

Along with the Columbus Aviators and Orlando Storm, Louisville is one of three expansion teams joining the eight-team UFL this season. The top four teams will advance to the playoffs in June after the Kings’ ten-game regular season, which consists of five home and five away games.

Chris Redman, a former quarterback for the University of Louisville and Super Bowl champion, will be the team’s head coach.

“Let’s pack out Lynn Family Stadium on March 27,” Redman said in a team release. “It’s going to be electric. Let’s show the UFL what Louisville is all about.”
