Shake Shack is officially coming to Louisville, with plans underway for a new location inside Oxmoor Center.

The east Louisville mall will host a Shake Shack sometime in 2026, according to the New York-based restaurant chain. There won’t be a drive-thru, but the Oxmoor Center restaurant will have entrances from both inside and outside the mall. An exact opening date and other details have not yet been made public.

The Oxmoor Center location will become Shake Shack’s second restaurant in Kentucky, joining the existing Lexington spot

Plans for a Shake Shack at Jeffersonville Town Center in southern Indiana, close to Veterans Parkway and Academy Sports and Outdoors, were approved in December, marking the first announcement of expansion into the Louisville region. However, the Oxmoor Center restaurant is anticipated to open ahead of the Jeffersonville location, according to company representatives.

More information about the Oxmoor Center opening is expected to be released as development progresses.
