Another year of unpredictable weather delayed the Louder Than Life weekend but fear not, Louder Than Life is returning in 2025 with SLAYER headlining. The 2025 dates are Sept. 18 – 21. Early Bird Passes go on sale this month.
Hurricane Helene rolled into Louisville as a tropical storm and resulted in the cancellation of Slayer’s set. That fans get a chance to see them next year is a huge boost. Sign up HERE to receive updates about the Early Bird passes.
“We can’t wait to welcome fans back to finish what we started this year and celebrate the return of Slayer,” says Danny Wimmer of Danny Wimmer Presents in a release. “Our team is hard at work finalizing an incredible lineup that we can’t wait to reveal this winter. It’s going to be epic, and we can’t wait to see everyone back in Louisville next September.”
Those fans who were passholders and affected by the cancellation on Sept. 27, can receive a full refund, or a credit applied to the purchase of passes for 2025. Weekend passholders can receive a 25% refund or credit. LTL fans will receive emails that outline the details of how to activate this offer.
For Slayer fans who are just too hyped to wait til next year, the band has posted a new archive called Slaytanic Verses, which goes deep into the bands 40+-year musical career.
Louder Than Life celebrated 10 years in 2024.
