The Lost World with Ut Gret UofL (Floyd Theater) Free; 8 p.m. Before films like Jurassic Park, there was The Lost World, a silent film based on the Sir Conan Doyle novel of the same name. It was the first to show moving dinosaurs on the silver screen, and now you can view this piece of cinematic history alongside a live score by Ut Gret. Ut Gret is a Louisville based band that blends elements of jazz, pop and avant-garde music, which will certainly be an entertaining mix for a stop-motion movie about dinosaurs. We here at LEO do not advocate for the use of hallucinogenic drugs, but it couldnt hurt for this one.
