A famous, Old Louisville ghost walk is back for a limited time, Friday, Oct. 15 through Sunday, Oct. 17.

Local author David Domine created this tour to show off the Victorian neighborhood’s spooky history. He considers Old Louisville to be America’s most haunted neighborhood.

During the tour, actors portray the figures whose spirits now (allegedly) roam some of Louisville’s oldest buildings.

You’ll hear the stories of people like duPont Manual High School’s namesake, Alfred Victor duPont, who was shot to death by a pregnant madam, and Simon Kracht, the “resurrectionist” grave digger who un-buried dead bodies for medical students at UofL.

Expect some spooky startles along the way from scare actors on the tour route.

Tours start at 6 p.m. every night and depart every 15 minutes for the remainder of the evening.
