Margo Price’s classic-leaning tunes have rich stories within them, but, live, her band bends toward a rogue sect of psychedelic country from the ’60s and ’70s. That kept her show at Headliners fresh on Saturday night with well-placed instrumental jams, one of which even led Price to put down her guitar and jump onto a second drum set for a dual percussion romp. From playing the noon slot at Seven Sense Festival two years ago to selling out Headliners on Saturday, Margo Price is on a hard-earned and deserved ride upward in the country world. Well see you on the Waterfront in July, Margo.
