Decade, a new Louisville dining concept inside a historic bi-level 1870s building (formerly Butchertown Grocery), will open its doors today. The restaurant is located at 1076 East Washington Street.
Owners Chad Sheffield, Matt Johnson, and Andy Myers plan for the restaurant to reincarnate the spirit of Decca, according to a recent press release, while also creating a hub for music, art, community outreach, and culture.
The menu is centered around seasonal New American cuisine with Italian and French influences, and led by veterans of the former restaurant, Decca (which closed in 2022). Craft cocktails, N/A cocktails, wine, and beer will also be served.
