Akiko’s 1123 Bardstown Road Widely regarded as one of the best places to karaoke in Louisville, Akikos has been around for 23 years. Akiko’s has a deep song book and the perfect set up. Open 9 p.m. – 4 a.m. every night.
NoraeBar 717 E. Market St. NoraeBar is in the bustling NuLu neighborhood and bills itself as “Louisville’s No. 1 karaoke venue.” There is an “epic” karaoke main stage and nine private song rooms (21 and over only).
Amy Z’s Pub 813 Lyndon Lane Amy Z’s neighborhood place is usually home to good food, great brews, and occasionally, karaoke. Be sure to check their Facebook page for updates.
Big Al’s Beeritaville 1715 Mellwood Ave. Big Al’s Beeritaville has everything you need at a dive-bar Margaritaville. Beers, burgers and karaoke.
Chill Bar Highlands 1117 Bardstown Road Chill Bar has been improving its space a lot in recent years, and the gay bar in The Highlands has always had karaoke nights. At the time of this writing, they are on Thursday and Sunday. Be sure to check their Facebook page for more information.
TAJ Louisville 807 E. Market St. TAJ Louisville is home to one of the more unique karaoke nights, since it takes place very late on Tuesday nights.
Flanagan’s Ale House 934 Baxter Ave. Every Tuesday at 9 p.m., you can stretch your vocals at this karaoke night at Flanagan’s Ale House on Baxter.
The Golden Nugget Tavern 2922 Hikes Lane This old-school bar near Jeffersontown was recently reopened in 2020, and continues to have a karaoke night on Wednesdays at 9 p.m.
Highlands Tap Room 1056 Bardstown Road This informal pub has comfort food, drinks, live music and most importantly – karaoke.
PRIDE bar + lounge 504 State St. PRIDE bar is not only the only gay bar in Southern Indiana, it’s also home to a karaoke night on Thursdays.
Hitching Post Tavern 115 W. Market St. Hitching Post Tavern in New Albany has been known to have a karaoke night or two. Check out their Facebook page to see when the next one is coming.
Hoopsters Sports Grill 830 E. 10th St., Jeffersonville, IN Hoopsters is usually a great place to grab a beer and burger and watch the latest NFL game or UFC fight. But on Fridays, it’s also a great spot for karaoke.
Louisville International Pub 5343 Mitscher Ave. Near the airport, this pub hosts karaoke every weekend. As well as food & drink and a live DJ.
Mac’s Hideaway 1636 Slate Run Road Mac’s Hideaway in New Albany describes itself as a “laid back” bar with pool, games, and most importantly, karaoke.
New Direction Bar & Grill 2630 Chamberlain Lane New Direction Bar & Grill in the East End of Louisville has karaoke on the patio bar Wednesdays and Saturdays (weather permitting). And in door karaoke on Thursdays.
Old Hickory Inn 1038 Lydia St. Established in 1994, Old Hickory Inn is your karaoke destination in the Schnitzelburg neighborhood of Louisville.
Patrick’s Liquors Bar 3202 Frankfort Ave. Looking for a place on Frankfort Avenue to belt out those tunes, head to Patrick’s Liquors Bar for some karaoke with “the best crowd in Louisville,” according to their Facebook page.
Prohibition Craft Spirits Bar 436 Baxter Ave. Prohibition is one of the newest bars on Baxter Avenue, and it’s also known to host a few karaoke nights during the week. Just be sure to check their Facebook for up-to-date times.
Seidenfaden’s Cafe 1134 E. Breckinridge St. One of the best neighborhood bars in Germantown, Seidenfaden’s Cafe hosts a number of fun events but none more fun than their weekend karaoke nights. Be sure to check their Facebook page for future information.
Syl’s Lounge 2403 W. Broadway Syl’s on Broadway has karaoke every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:30-1:30 a.m.
Spectators Sports Bar & Grill 5530 New Cut Road While not set in stone, Spectators Sports bar is known to have a great karaoke night on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
The Deuce 4101 Preston Hwy. If you ever find yourself around Preston highway late at night, stop by The Deuce for some good company and late night karaoke. Open 4 p.m.-2 a.m. every night but Sunday (closed).
Uptown Bar 330 Vincennes St., New Albany Self-described as a “local dive bar” with “exciting nightlife energy” and, you guessed it, karaoke. Next time you find yourself in New Albany, stop by and sing a tune.
