As bar goers try to navigate this new, post-pandemic bar scene, it can be frustrating to find so many who are not accustomed to the culture that thrived for so long in the city. Younger bar hoppers may seem rude or obnoxious while out with their friends, and it may be time to find a spot with a slower pace, or an upper age limit.
Joe’s Palm Room and Gruv Sports Bar are experimenting with the latter, going only 30 years old and up, which means no more room for the 20-somethings. The following comments come from @wtf_lousiville’s Instagram page. Here’s what people are saying:
I guess it just depends on when and where you go, because I don’t really ever see these “wild” people other than a few drunkards who are of a WIDE range in age.You get a vodka Red Bull and just about anyone would have the energy.
