Dancing Plague "Elogium" Release Tour

Wild Lights

Louisville’s premier springtime lights attraction, Wild Lights, returns to the Louisville Zoo for its fifth year. Bringing a new lineup of lanterns, Wild Lights will run Thursday through Sunday nights from Mar. 23 – May 19. Tickets start at $23 with special deals for families. Alabaster Glory

The reception for the MFA thesis exhibition of Taiwanese-born Chloe Cheng is at the Hite Institute of Art and Design's student gallery space in Portland on Friday. Featuring three installations that represent three stages of human life: the beginning, living in the world, and the end. The concept behind the multimedia representations of these three stages is the relationship between creator and creations.

KMAC Couture

KMAC Couture is a wearable art runway show presented as the signature fundraiser for KMAC that provides funding for the Museum’s education programs and exhibits. KMAC Couture launched in 2013 as a distinct fashion event that allowed KMAC to showcase its unique position as a contemporary art museum that celebrates ideas at the crossroads of art, craft, and design. In recognition of the 150th running of the Kentucky Derby in 2024, the 12th edition of KMAC Couture will honor one of Louisville’s most famous institutions and most notable traditions through the 2024 Theme: Runway for the Roses!

SATURDAY, APRIL 13

Racing Louisville v. San Diego Wave
Lynn Family Stadium | 350 Adams St. | racingloufc.com | $19+ | 7:30 p.m.
It’s opening night at home for Louisville’s premier women’s soccer team on Saturday. Racing Louisville FC finished with the ninth best record (6-9-7) in its third year in the National Women’s Soccer League. The club takes on the San Diego Wave FC, a team that successfully managed the best record in the league last year (11-7-4) including Alex Morgan, the forward most notable for her tenure with the American professional team on the world stage.
