Art news The Fund for the Arts has hired its first impact officer. Kat Abner will develop a framework and set of tools to measure outcomes as well as track, communicate and increase the impact of the arts across the region (fundforthearts.com).

Top art events The art reuse store Good Garbage, along with Habitat ReStore and Louisville Metro’s Office of Sustainability, is proclaiming Tuesday, Oct. 20 to be Louisville Reuse Day and the week thereof, Louisville Reuse Week (goodgarbage.org).
