FRIDAY

Coat Check Pool Party Turners Club Pool (3124 River Road) $10; 8 p.m. Why wouldn’t you want a pool, live music and reasonably-priced drinks in the same place? Night Visions Radio’s Sam Sneed, Rad Tantrum Radio’s McKinley Moor and Clay Baker will be at this event, blasting everyone’s favorite summertime tunes for your entertainment.

SATURDAY

ReSurfaced  319 S. Shelby St. 12 p.m. Spend your Saturday listening to live music and getting to know your fellow Louisvillians. The day includes mixtapes by Please & Thank You and Mperfect, as well as one by LEO’s very own Scott Recker, RythmOms: A Live Music and Yoga Series, Squalls Puppeteers Time Machine! Show and DJ Sam Sneed.

Sunflower Bean Zanzabar $10-$12, 9 p.m. Get your live music fix this weekend with New York City’s Sunflower Bean. The trio has mixed musical genres to concoct a cohesive sound that works for them. Their unique sound has earned them some praise lately, so this is one show you don’t want to miss. Clifton Music & Art Festival Frankfort Avenue (between State & William streets) Free; 1 p.m. Celebrate Saturday and your day away from the office by going outside, listening to live music and looking at art from more than 50 vendors. Local bands will be performing, and art and unique vintage pieces will be for sale. Like all things Louisville, there will be some good food at your fingertips: The Silver Dollar, El Taco Lunchador, HillTop Tavern, Bar Code 1758, The Celtic Pig and Sweet Surrender will all be in attendance.

SUNDAY

The Dark Market Haymarket Whiskey Bar Free; 6 p.m. Unlike normal art markets and festivals, this one is at night. Spooky. It will feature curated nighttime oddities, with art from many unique artists. There are a slew of different artists participating, but among them are Unorthodox, Howell’s Oddities, Valentine Hassen, Dan Lerner and Jada Lynn Dixon.
