On Saturday, Louisville City Football Club defeated Nashville 2-0 in a smooth win. A championship flag commemorating their 2017 United Soccer League title was raised over the field at halftime and that might have been the right push, because soon after Louisville started racking up opportunities and goals. A total of 7,933 fans attended the game at Louisville Slugger field breaking Louisville City's previous opening game attendance numbers.
