LEON: McConnell’s five day forecast

Wednesday Day — Still raining from yesterday, possibly turning to snow in the afternoon. Some sleet may mix in, because why not? High 36F. Winds N at 10 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation absolutely 100%. Snow accumulating 3 to 5 inches. Night — Snow. Of course snow. Low 16F. Winds N at 10 to 20 mph. Chance of snow? No chance of no snow … ok 10% of no snow. 90% precipitation. Snow accumulating 5 to 8 inches.

Thursday Day — Cloudy again. Cold again. High 27F. Winds NNW at 10 to 15 mph. Night — Those clouds from earlier give way, making room for near record low temperatures. Low -1F. Winds shouldn’t matter inside.

Friday Day — Hey! Sunny skies. Not too cold for about 2 minutes midday. High 33F. Winds at 5 to 10 mph. Night — Cold. Clear to partly cloudy. Low 16F ... hmmm, courts would deem this illegal. Winds SSW at 5 to 10 mph.

Saturday Day — 45F Y’all! Mainly sunny. Warm enough to melt 1/8th of the inches of snow. Winds SW at 10 to 15 mph. Night — Partly cloudy skies, but it’s all good because we have new low standards! Low 22F. Winds at 5 to 10 mph. But reason for hope: It’s daylight savings 2015! At 2 a.m. it’s actually 1 a.m. We still don’t get it but it’s true … Extra hour of sleep!!

Sunday Day — Sunny enough to make you think it’s nice out … for about 5 min. Partly cloudy. High 44F. Winds at 5 to 10 mph. Don’t get your hopes up. Night — Ugly gray clouds still moping around, might give way to generally clear skies overnight. Low 28F. Winds SW at 5 to 10 mph. But hey, sunset is now 7:45 p.m., you don’t have to start drinking during the workday!
