Unsigned rock and metal bands are invited to take their shot at a chance to perform on stage at Louder Than Life!

Louisville-area bands/artists, this is your chance to be the pride of our local music scene and represent Louisville in front of thousands of Loudmouths!

Here’s how to get in the running:

  • Go to louderthanlifefestival.com/loudest-in-lou and submit a video no longer than four minutes in length of a recent performance (studio or in front of a crowd) by June 15, 2025.
  • DWP’s selection committee will narrow it down to the top four bands to perform a 3-5 song set during the semi-finals on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at the Fox Den in Louisville, KY. (All semi-finalists will be notified by June 24, 2025.)
  • During the semifinals, judges will select two acts to advance to the finals on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at the Fox Den in Louisville, KY, where both finalists will perform a 30-45 minute set.
  • During the finals, judges will award the grand prize: an opening slot at the 2025 Louder Than Life Festival!
