Friday, Nov. 12

Doorway — A Tribute to the Doors Headliners Music Hall $20 reserved seating, $10 general  |  8 p.m. One of the most celebrated — and sometimes divisive — classic rock bands, The Doors, are going to be paid tribute to tonight, with DoorWay, Ron Whitehead, Hank Linderman and The School of Rock Ensemble providing the poetry and sounds. The event also supports  Home of the Innocents, and there is a co-existing outdoor photo exhibit, “DoorWay: Artists in Search of Music in a Pandemic” on display as part of the Louisville Photo Biennial.  

Sweet Country Meat Boys, Air Chrysalis, Cade Howard The Flamingo Lounge $10  |  8 p.m. A night of Kentucky music, featuring experimental psych-rock band Sweet Country Meat Boys, the dream-pop of Air Chrysalis and the innovative singer-songwriter alt-folk of Cade Howard.

Sunday, Nov. 14

Josh Waters Zanzabar $10  |  8 p.m. With a sturdy R&B base, Josh Waters twists various genres — elements of folk, hip-hop, jazz, experimental rock, etc. — into his rich, smooth sound.
