The Kentucky Yoga Festival takes place in Edmonton, about two hours south of Louisville.

This weekend, namaste a while at the Kentucky Yoga Festival.

The event, which started this morning for its fourth year, runs through Sunday afternoon at the Barren River Magic camp farm in Edmonton, about two hours south of Louisville.

Throughout the weekend, there will be more than 70 sessions about topics like ecstatic dance, mycology, paddleboarding, journaling, crystals — and plenty of yoga, of course. Guests will also be able to swim in the river, then clean off in showers and “real bathrooms.” Click here for the full schedule.

Kids will have access to an open art area, plus scheduled art-making activities and scavenger hunts.

Musicians will provide tunes on Friday and Saturday.

There will also be a “Third Eye Market” with vendors, including Starshine Arts, Essentially Hemp, and 13 Moons Apothecary

Fistful of Tacos, The Rooster's Whistle and Smoked Food Truck are scheduled to sell food and beverages on-site.

Tickets for adults (16+) are $60 for the day or $180 for the whole weekend; tickets for kids 8-15 are $20 for the day and $60 for the weekend. Pre-sale for tickets has closed, but you can still buy them in-person — cash-only, though, as the festival is basically off-the-grid. (On that note, make sure to stay as eco-friendly as possible if you go, by using reusable water bottles and not leaving behind any trash — Kentucky Yoga Festival is a zero-waste event.)
