‘Zephyr’ Series By Steven Walker

It feels like spring in Louisville, finally, and Steven Walker’s recent paintings look like it, too. His Zephyr series is “a soft gentle breeze … my exploration into the gentle and vast skies that many love but can’t necessarily capture.” His paintings are three-fourths clouds, color and light, reflective of the type of sky you hope for on a warm, May day. B. Deemer Gallery has given us the perfect art show to view after the hectic fun of Derby — a combination of wonder and relaxation in paint.
