I’ve always wanted to travel the world, but being broke seems to get in the way a lot. Which is why I can’t wait to head down to the 13th annual World Fest on the Belvedere. It’s a chance to enculture yourself and learn about Louisville’s diverse, global community without that expensive price tag. There will be dancing, food and music with over 70 bands, including Afrophyscists, Squeeze-bots, Keltricity, The Misty Mountain String Band and Funkadesi playing. And on Saturday you can catch the Parade of Cultures, which will be making its way from Metro Hall to the Belvedere, dazzling everyone with the many beautiful garbs of these different countries and cultures.
