A celebration of filmmakers, Hollywood designers, and special effects creators, Wonderfest returns to Louisville this Saturday and Sunday for another year at the Crowne Plaza Hotel. This year features a visit by “Walking Dead” producer-director Greg Nicotero, the co-owner of one of the industries most famous makeup houses, KNB FX Group. There are a host of creative types, primarily of the sci-fi/horror variety ranging from Victoria Price, daughter to the legendary Vincent Price, to Marta Kristen, who appeared in the “Lost in Space” series. There is modeling contest — of the constructed sort, not the bikini type — that serves as the centerpiece to the event and features hobbyists from all over the world. You can always find something to see there, be it your favorite celebrities or just something wonderfully weird.
