Winter Tree Identification

You might think that when winter falls, nature seems a bit more gray, more monolithic. But, look closely, and you’ll find that’s not the case. It’s still possible to tell trees apart when they shed their leaves, and Wren Smith, Bernheim’s interpretive programs manager, will teach you how — first, with an indoor explanation of basic terms and simple clues in Bernheim’s Education Center Classroom and then in an outdoor lesson. Impress your friends by being able to tell your ash from your sycamore!
