Outdoor fun of all kinds, all day. Archery, canoeing, cycling, climbing and just plain ol’ park playing. Staff and volunteers from the Jefferson Memorial Forest will bring the fun to Shawnee to provide all of these outdoor opportunities for free, plus a pop-up nature play area. There will also be a discussion about the West Louisville Outdoor Recreation Initiative and plans for a Shawnee Outdoor Learning Center, so don’t be shy to help guide the future of outdoor fun in beautiful Shawnee Park.
