‘The Way Out is In/The Way in is Out’ by Carrie Neumayer

Art is well documented as a way to heal your body, lift your spirit and be an all-around elixir for good health. Whether you are an artist or an art lover, there’s no snake oil here. Artist Carrie Neumayer can testify. While creating her latest body of work of abstract paintings, “the process became a form of meditation that allowed me to turn off my anxious mind and explore a more interior portrait instead of an external one,” she said. The exhibition’s opening is Friday, Nov. 3 from 6-9 p.m.
