Another edition of WFPK’s free monthly series, the August Waterfront Wednesday features headliner Anderson East, an Alabama-raised, Nashville-based singer who draws from deep soul and smooth R&B in his pop music. Also playing is Maia Sharp, whose singer-songwriter sound seems both aligned with growing up in Southern California and the late ‘90s indie-folk scene. Opening is Louisville’s Twin Limb, a dark, piercing and ominous folk act that seems to always be expanding their sound.
