Artist Gabriella Boros, who created 10 woodblock-printed banners that commemorate notable Kentucky women, will lead walking tours of her exhibit on July 10 and 11. Each tour will last about 1.5-2 hours throughout the day and start at the Garden Pavillion and follow around the entire Lake Nevin Loop. Boros will begin with sharing examples of the board she used to create the woodblocks and will also show other materials used along with a demonstration of her technique. The artist will discuss the women on the banners. This is a nature walk on an unpaved trail. It will be hot, and can get muddy so beware when dressing for the event. Bring plenty of water to stay hydrated.
