Walking your dog isn’t always a rewarding experience. If it isn’t raining outside, it’s cold, or you just end up walking around town with a warm plastic bag. But this weekend you can feel a little better about taking Fido for a walk by attending the Waggin’ Trail 5K, where proceeds will go towards the Kentucky Humane Society. The KHS serves thousands of homeless pets each year, and your donation will help these animals recover from neglect or abuse and find a forever home. Sadly, you still have to pick up their poop.
