‘Views From The River’ By Ray Kleinhelter

Ray Kleinhelter is well known for his abstract riverscapes painted live from his boat studio. In truth, he could paint anything anywhere, as he’s enamored with the physical act of painting and its form, color and process. Besides being an artist, Kleinhelter now has another hat to wear: gallery owner. He recently opened his eponymous gallery at 701 E. Eighth St. in New Albany. He purchased the former Weinmann Building, built in 1858, about two years ago and has been renovating it ever since.
