‘Understanding Terrorism’

Understanding the origins of terrorism, as well as how the threat of terrorism impacts us, is the central focus of this Free Public Library Short Course. This LFPL’s Short Course series brings a condensed, college-level crash course for free. This six-part series culminates Sept. 11, and will look at “how our brains react to threats (real or perceived); why threats have more to do with social constructs rather than biological race or sex differences; and why some people campaign against perceived threats in ineffective ways.” Registration is required.
