The Food Literacy Project is hosting a virtual event for foodies and “farm-minded folks” in support of APRON, a nonprofit supporting local food and beverage service workers who work at locally owned establishments, and its own fresh food programs. Despite not being able to eat and drink all of the deliciousness at this event, the lineup of expert hosts should provide ample guidance to enjoy several mouthwatering indulgences. Fashion a “farm-fresh blistered bourbon cocktail” with Maker’s Mark and watch the team from Anoosh Bistro cook up a seasonal dish in celebration of harvest season. You can also host your own virtual house party using some of the materials available on the event website, including The Wine Rack drink recommendations and recipes using fresh food.
