‘Turbulence’
By J. Cobb

Creativity rarely follows a time clock. As the production director at LEO Weekly, J. Cobb is one busy guy. But that doesn’t mean he stops making art when he walks out the door, as his latest exhibition at Jaan Bee Art Boutique attests. “Turbulence is the word that I like to use to describe my relationship with my art,” he said. “I am inspired by a multitude of art styles and movements, which blend together in unpredictable ways.” Expect references to folk art, comics and surrealism. A reception is Friday, July 20 from 6-8 p.m.
