Locust Grove presents this St. Patrick’s Day event, “a special party with tasty Irish treats and tea to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day and Locust Grove’s Irish-born founder, William Croghan.” Local historian and former Metro Councilman Tom Owen will speak on the history of Louisville’s Irish immigrants and Bloody Monday Riots of 1855, as part of “Louisville’s Irish Catholic Newcomers: Early Confrontation and Conflict.” Space is limited to the first 90 people, so reserve your spot by calling 897-9845.
