‘Titus Andronicus’ … and more

There will be blood. William Shakespeare knew what his audience liked, and this play of political revenge was a big hit. It still packs a wallop. Directed by Matt Wallace and starring Jon Huffman as Andronicus, this violent play is not for all (Kentucky Shakespeare states it is for mature audiences only). Kentucky Shakespeare is also presenting two programs to further your understanding of the play, as well as Shakespeare in general. After each Friday night performance, learn how the gore happens on stage with “Titus Andronicus Revealed” ($10). “Titus Off the Page” is a book club/behind-the-scenes look ($70 for three sessions including a ticket to “Titus Andronicus”). Seating is limited.
