It’s that time again when you can see artists in their natural habitat, the studio. UofL’s Hite Art Institute and Louisville Visual Art are presenting Open Studio Weekend, a time when visitors can get in the usually hidden inner sanctum to meet artists and discuss their work (the art is for sale). It promises to be the largest yet, with over 100 artists participating. Tickets are available at LVA and the Cressman Center as well as Commonwealth Bank and select galleries. A studio map is included in the ticket purchase. If you are interested in one-stop viewing, the Cressman Center and PUBLIC Gallery are showing works by many of the participating artists through Nov. 15.
