With a big, straightforward sound and the charisma to match, The Struts fall in line with other contemporary retro-leaning bands that hit somewhere between British Invasion and glam, like The Killers or The Darkness did before them. Bringing a voice with range and snarl, guitars with attitude and an over-arching concept that strives to be catchy and easily digestible, The Struts throw a few twists and turns into the mix that draw from indie, but really it’s all proven tropes.
